Sarah & Coy's Wedding Day!

Sarah and Coy got Married 3 weeks ago at the Pratt Place Inn in Fayetteville! I had been to the Pratt Place Barn, but the was my first time at the Inn. This place is incredible! The room where Sarah got ready was to die for! I could have shot pictures in there all day! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Matt & Kelly- Engagement

Meet Matt and Kelly. They are getting married next May in Dallas (I think). They wanted some fun, classic pictures around the U of A campus! I think we got some great shots! Here are some fun ones!  And again... please disregard the weird pixely-ness thats going on in the photos!  I'm in the works of fixing this!

I thought I'd start off with one that I know Matt and Kelly will love.  This one's a framer!

I think this picture is my favorite (well... probably not, but it's tied for 1st).  I love that we can see Matt's arm, how she's holding it, and that she looks so happy to be in his arms.  I just love engagement shoots!

Kelly wanted a picture in from on Old Main... so I tried to make is somewhat creative!

I always try to get a "ring shot" during engagement shoots!  I just LOVE how this one turned out!  I love how you can see the curve of Kelly's back!  Love it!

I think this one shows how they both feel about each other!  He's passionately in love with her and she just can't get enough of him!  Oh the days of being engaged!

Check out this couple! They're getting married in April in South Carolina! They were super fun to photograph and they did whatever I asked during the shoot (because sometimes I have some crazy ideas). I also loved that she wore a zebra scarf!  I'm all about fun colors during shoots!

Brady's first time in a bumbo!

Our little boy is 3 1/2 months old and growing so fast!  He's got good head control now, so we thought he would be able to sit in the Bumbo! He loved it!

I took this sweet little girl's pictures a few months ago when she was around 7ish months old!  I was huge and pregnant then, so this 1 year shoot was much easier on me!  Ha! Hope you enjoy!  Also... I'm not real sure whats going on with blogger right now, but these pictures look super pixely and weird!  BUT.... there is a new and improved blog in the works!  Be looking for the updated and much better version of the Rachel Blackwell Photography blog soon!!

Halloween!

We had ALL 10 of Brady's cousins over for Halloween.  It was a little crazy at our house on Saturday night!

Brady didn't make it out to trick or treat, but 9 of them did!

Also... I've been lacking on my blogs lately, but I'll be playing catch up in the next few weeks!  I've been crazy busy with shoots and today is the first time I've been able to sit down at my computer and blog!

Autumn's Senior Portraits

Meet Autumn!  I shot this session last Friday!! Now... if anyone of you remember last Friday the high was like 40 degrees and it was miserable!  Autumn was such a trooper and braved the cold all morning!  I thought my hands were going to freeze off, but we made it through and I think her shoot is super cute and shows her personality!  She saw Allison's Bridal pics a few weeks ago that were taken in the Legacy building and wanted to shoot some of her pics there!  They turned out perfect!  She was also the Homecoming queen at her high school, so we shot a few in her homecoming dress (that's why she has a big white dress on).  Hope you enjoy!

I love weddings!

I just got back from shooting a wedding!! I finished uploading the pictures and happened to notice this one and just had to post it! I love it! The blue walls, the gorgeous room, the wedding dress! So fun! More from this wedding soon!

A visit to San Francisco!

Let me just start out with my personal favorite picture... Brady having a staring contest with his toy!!  He was in his carseat A LOT this trip... so he obviously made friends with his toy!

Brady is now able to ROLL OVER at 3 months of age!!  Look at him.. all grown up like a big boy!
